As a result of continued growth, fast-casual restaurant brand Noodles & Company (Noodles) recently revamped its Broomfield, Colorado headquarters. The company needed to increase the number of workstations, update their office furniture and improve the feel of their workspace. Having surveyed employees in the past, they knew what topped the staff wish list: sit-to-stand desks, collaborative workspaces, and new desk chairs.
Solution
Noodles contacted Contract Furnishings and Gensler Denver, the team that previously renovated its office. As part of the workspace redesign, they replaced old chairs with SitOnIt’s Torsa chairs and reworked the office to support space restrictions and ergonomics. With vibrant orange and green accents, a new open space now invites employees to connect and collaborate at a high-top table and chairs from Urban Woods and Arper.
Overall, the Noodles staff is happy with the office overhaul. They love that their desks allow them to move around and that their new chairs are flexible and comfortable. “Employee feedback has been very positive. People love the changes we have made,” said Carrie Stenger. “And, working with Contract Furnishings is always easy. We can always talk openly and honestly, and they work to get it right. As a result, we have a great working relationship.”
